Uniswap is the largest decentralized trading and automated market making protocol (often called a DEX, Decentralized Exchange) on Ethereum. Since launching in 2018, Uniswap Protocol has processed over $110B in volume and increasing to the tune of $1B+ daily.

We are one of the smallest and most impactful teams in crypto. We are based out of Brooklyn in New York City with option to be partially or fully remote depending on the position.

Uniswap Labs is hiring a Business Development Lead focused on decentralized financial services. 

We are looking to expand our Growth division, bringing on a new team member to help us accelerate our partnerships and integrations over the coming years as DeFi transitions from a small community of users to a credible alternative to the legacy financial system. 

Integrations and partnerships have played a vital role in the Uniswap Protocol’s success to date: today, the protocol counts over 200 integrations across partner protocols, wallets, data analytics providers, among other categories. 

Our goal is to build simple, powerful, and beautiful tools that democratize access to financial services. This role is not a revenue generation role: rather, it is about helping the DeFi industry leverage the Uniswap Protocol as robust and neutral exchange and liquidity provision infrastructure. 

Candidates must have strong backgrounds in DeFi, whether as an operator, researcher, business development representative, or investor. You should have been consistently performing at the top of your peer group in your prior roles. You must have thorough experience with the DeFi ecosystem as well as a deep understanding of how the Uniswap Protocol works. 

Need to haves:

  • Background and established network in DeFi
  • Deep understanding of the Uniswap Protocol and potential areas for integration 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Ability to identify relevant partnerships/integrations, take initiative, and own the sales cycle end-to-end
  • Friendly, charismatic, and able to close deals 

Nice to haves:

  • Technical background 
  • Experience in business development/sales
  • Strong understanding of Ethereum and the emerging DeFi ecosystem
  • Fondness for the color pink
