What you’ll be responsible for:

Circle is seeking a Talent Coordinator to help with our day-to-day logistical and administrative responsibilities as well as run some projects on the Talent Operations team. You may have little to no experience for this role as we are looking for someone that wants that first opportunity to build his/her career in Talent, aka ‘HR’. You are someone who works very hard, takes enormous pride in your work, gets upset at yourself, i.e. ‘motivated’ when you make mistakes, is extremely aspirational and wants to learn, help and contribute to Circle’s success. You will help create and streamline processes pertaining to employee on-boarding, employee data input into relevant systems, benefits, payroll, etc.. You will coordinate across hiring managers, recruiters, departments, and geographies. Your work will lend itself to helping Circle’s Talent Operations organization achieve its goal of the highest level of employee satisfaction possible.

What you'll work on:

  • Administer global health, dental, vision, life and other insurance plan benefits including enrollments, changes, and terminations. 
  • Assist in the annual benefit renewal process and conduct audits of benefit systems and invoices to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide support to set up Circle in new geographies and liaise with internal and external parties to operationalize new geographies, both domestic and international.
  • Help maintain Circle’s real estate plan and implementation. Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to examine Circle’s needs, find real estate space, and assist with contracts.
  • Provide support to the employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Find ways to iterate and improve current processes to scale as well as provide employees with top tier service.
  • Participate in other Talent duties as assigned such as talent reporting and analytics, equity administration, payroll support, HRIS maintenance, process documentation, and employee communication.
  • Input changes into HRIS and/or payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, 401(k) deferrals, stock plan exercises, and other deductions.
  • Participate in the documentation of policies, processes, and procedures, compliant with SOX standards for internal controls over financial reporting. 
  • Provide support to the employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Identify areas for simplification, and efficiency using technology to improve current employee experience. 
  • Be willing to provide ad hoc support for anything that comes up in the Talent Operations and overall Talent team.

  • 0+ years of experience as a Talent/HR coordinator or a role with similar responsibilities in a professional organization; however, we will train you if you are the perfect candidate with no experience.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree is not required but you must have a strong desire to learn many new things, amazing work ethic, and alignment to our Mission and Values.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack and Apple MacOS preferred.
