About the Team and Role
BlockFi is looking for a Vice President of Product Marketing to champion the voice of the customer when positioning, developing and marketing our products and brand. As a seasoned marketing leader, you will develop a growing and talented team, while also partnering closely with leaders across Marketing and Product to effectively position BlockFi and communicate the value of our products and services to various client segments.
You will be a highly strategic member of the Marketing leadership team, with high visibility to C-suite leaders. You are a seasoned yet nimble individual with a proven ability to execute and build best in class teams within high-growth organizations.
The ideal candidate will have the following experiences and abilities:
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing at a fast growing fintech or cryptocurrency company, including 6+ years of team leadership experience
- Executive-level leadership for product messaging, competitive analyses and positioning, GTM strategy, pricing, and customer insights
- Ability to clearly define our target audiences - both demographically and psychographically - at the brand level and for our product lines with customer segmentation based on qualitative and quantitative research
- Lead go-to-market strategies across targeting, segmentation, positioning, value propositions, creative messaging, marketing channels, and budgets
- Ensure that the voice of the customer is represented in every customer facing product and marketing interaction
- Demonstrated ability to work with Consumer Insights and Analytics to define and measure the customer journey, customer engagement, and hero metrics that align with positive outcomes for customers and the business
- Experience delivering pricing and packaging strategies that drive adoption and exceed the expectations of various customer segments
- Partner closely with demand generation functions across acquisition and engagement to tell compelling stories that help build demand and drive revenue across our offerings and across the customer lifecycle
- Lead and build a team of high performing product marketer leaders and effectively prioritize activity and resources within a demanding high growth company
- Exceptional communication skills, you can communicate clearly and effectively across all stakeholders
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment with diverse priorities
- Experience with fintech and/or cryptocurrency consumer brands is strongly preferred
